1. Can I change my company name after register a company in Singapore?

Yes, you can change your company name after register a company in Singapore but the company has to file the change of company name via ACRA. It will take 1~2 working days to prepare the documents and proceed to file. If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

2. Is there any restriction to change the company name?

There is no restriction to change the company name, but you are required to provide us a proposed new company name to check the availability of the proposed name via ACRA

3. Can I get the updated business profile after change of company name?

Yes, you can get the updated business profile and Certificate of Incorporation (COI) after we have filed the change of company name via ACRA.

4. After change of the company name, what are the things that I required to take note of?

After filing for the change of company name is done via ACRA, it will be automatically linked to the other government departments and updated accordingly. However, you are required to update the name of corporate bank accounts as well. The bank may request resolution and bank forms to proceed updating.
